The seams are bound, in pastel hem tape. About half way up, as I'll need to clip after my final fitting.
I cut bias tape and started applying to the raw edges.
I did the math and came to realize I do need more puff ruffle yardage. I've made 40 yards, but need to make another 20. But in good news I've realized I can use the bias tape to make things a step simpler. If I apply the bias tape to the ruffle during ruffle construction and then the ruffle on the dress, I can even out the ruffle without struggling with the dress and make sure the stitching is hidden much more easily. Love figuring out ways to make construction easier!
I'm about 10 yards along the way through bias tape application 5 more to go! Thoroughly bored by it. And will not let myself make ruffles until I've finished the rest.
So what does a girl do? Start a wig.
That will be taller than this.
This is as far as I've gotten. A few curls made and a bald spot created. A rat will be sew onto the bald spot
And this happened during testing.
Still not tall enough. :)
