Our guest room doubles as my sewing room. Once we moved into a 3 bedroom house the extra bedroom got outfitted via IKEA. Gone are the days of my machine perched on the dining room table for weeks. For which hubby would about kill me....
I outfitted the wardrobe with drawers to make finding fabric easier. I have done the plastic bin thing and hate it. To get this place together I've done a massive purge of old fabric, getting rid of horrid early purchases, hand me down fabric etc. I've measured out most of it and marked it. Bit more to do here but no fabric pile in front of the cabinet! Success!

The sewing desk is by Arrow Sewing Cabinets. Hubby got it for me for Valinetine's Day a few years ago. Love it!
I happily received a collection of high end lace from a little old lady last year, which I've stored in Mason jars. To make sure they got air, I pulled out the center of the lids and replaced it with a muslin circle. Really love the way this storage method came out. Pretty and practical.
Lastly, the bed and my bookshelf. The bed is an air matress on top of a box spring, as the cat had managed to destroy the most God awfully uncomfortable mattress ever. The air mattress works in a pinch though. And yes, I have hoops under my bed.
The folded cutting table was another V-day gift from hubby, which he quickly appropriated as his own for folding laundry. Considering how much he whined about such an unromantic gift he loves it now. He will put a boy movie on and get all the clothes in the house folded, which makes it the best V-day gift ever in my book.
